Hauzen LLP is pleased to announce that Perline Ko has joined the firm, further boosting its financial regulatory capabilities.
Joining as Of Counsel, Perline will focus on contentious financial regulatory matters, and non-contentious financial services regulatory advisory.
Perline started her career specializing in contentious regulatory and financial services matters at a Magic Circle law firm, where she advised on a wide range of securities regulatory matters, and acted for financial institutions and corporations. She was seconded to top-tier investment banks as a regulatory compliance specialist. Thereafter, Perline joined a major U.S investment bank’s prime brokerage division focusing on hedge fund consulting.
Prior to joining Hauzen, Perline obtained in-depth working experience in the enforcement divisions of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong and the Mandatory Provident Funds Authority, conducting complex regulatory investigations and disciplinary proceedings.
Perline is admitted as a solicitor in Hong Kong, and as a solicitor in England and Wales. She is fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
