On 18 August 2021, the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data published its Guidance on the Ethical Development and Use of Artificial Intelligence to help organisations understand and comply with the relevant requirements of the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance when they develop or use Artificial Intelligence in Hong Kong.
