Wendy Au is a senior associate in the Hong Kong office of Hauzen LLP. She has a decade of experience as a legal advisor in the investment funds and asset management industry, focusing on investment funds formation, financial services regulation, virtual assets and cryptocurrency.
Wendy focuses her legal practice on investment fund formations, private equity investment, pre-IPO investments, cornerstone investments and venture capital investment. She also advises on financial services regulation, virtual assets and cryptocurrency-related licensing and regulatory issues. She acts for investors, asset managers, private equity firms, licensed securities firms, crypto firms and startups.
Wendy previously practised law at the largest local law firm in Hong Kong and has also practised as an offshore lawyer in the Hong Kong office of a Cayman Islands and BVI offshore law firm. She has also served as an in-house counsel at a Chinese financial conglomerate with operations in Hong Kong, China and Southeast Asia.
Wendy is admitted as a solicitor in Hong Kong and in England and Wales. She is fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
